Site: Proper slope of land from
structure, drainage, retaining walls, driveways, porches, decks,
walkways, parking structures, and evidence of pesticides being
applied.

Foundation: Settlement causing
cracks or heaving. Any evidence of a moving structure. Deterioration,
moisture influx, and piers.

Exterior: Siding, trim, gutters,
entry doors, windows, and chimneys.

Structure: Floor framing including
beams, joists, hangers, sub floor, wall framing, stair framing,
ceilings, and roofs.

Roofing: Flashing, skylights, roof
coverings, gutters and downspouts, eaves, soffits, fascia, and
vents.

Plumbing: Drains, vents, water heaters,
water pressure, piping, and fixtures.

Electrical: Main panels, sub panels,
breakers, fuses, grounding, GFI function, switches, receptacles,
smoke detectors, fans, fixtures, etc.

Heating & Cooling: Furnace or
boiler, ducts, radiators, floor and wall registers, cold-air
returns, and wood-burning stoves.

Insulation: Attic, wall, and floor
insulation. Vapor and moisture barriers.
